Business Valuator
André Scheirlinck is a Business Valuation specialist at Sophista. He graduated from the Business Valuation programme at the RSM Erasmus University and is registered as a Business Valuator with the SWBO (Business Valuation Foundation [Stichting Waarderingsonderzoek ten behoeve van Bedrijf en Onderneming]). He is also affiliated to the NIRV (Netherlands Institute for Business Valuators [Nederlands Instituut voor Register Valuators]).

A Business Valuator is a financial specialist with thorough knowledge and expertise in the field of business valuation. Based on a thorough knowledge of the value of a business, a Business Valuator can make an essential contribution to company mergers, takeovers or sales. In the context of large-scale and complex transactions he can collaborate effectively as valuation specialist with other specialists on the transaction team.
In Mid-Market transactions he often acts as a sparring partner for his client, as a representative of the client's interests during the negotiations and as a transaction manager who knows when he has to engage other specialists so that they can play a role in a certain phase of the transaction, for example in the fiscal or legal area. Besides the transaction-oriented activities described above, the Business Valuator is also frequently active in the field of company financing, value based management, (dis)investment issues and other aspects of Corporate Finance.
